Meticulously painting leather dye onto these fairytale roses and vines, to make the beautiful front piece for my Briar Rose leather corset, from my shop: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/77778...

I use EcoFlo water based dyes, and finish with a top coat of EcoFlo Gel Antique in Briar Brown. For best results, you should do a coat of acrylic sealer on the whole piece *before* using an antique gel, but I didn't know that at the time! The sealer doesn't stop the antique from penetrating completely, but it won't soak in as much on the flat areas where you may have applied a dye already. I have since used this technique and was pleased with the results, but this one came out alright anyway.
