National Reconciliation Week has been a great opportunity to bring my contribution to producing this video and showcase what people can achieve with a positive attitude and a great sense of commitment. This group had never sung together before and for some it was their very first time in a choir. Also, I was delighted throughout the process to work with my lovely artist friends, Cath Mundy and Jay Turner. Over the years we have built a strong relationship and working together has always been a wonderful experience. I sincerely hope you will enjoy this video.

National Reconciliation Week has started on Monday 27 May, and it is a time for all Australians to learn about shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
The theme for this year’s NRW is ‘Now more than ever’. This reminds all of us that, no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will continue.
Now more than ever, we all have a role to play when it comes to reconciliation and to collectively build relationships and communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures, and futures.
Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds, and actions of all Australians as we move forward, creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between non-Indigenous people and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
