Parule is a small village near Kudal in Sindhudurga district. Very less populated and surrounded with dense woods; many water streams flow down to meet river Karli from this village.

This is the perfect habitat for many birds; and I was specifically interested in watching Blue-eared kingfisher (lifer for me).
