A few months back we decided we were going to build a Santa Maria grill. About the same time, one of our favorite YouTubers, Sam the Cooking Guy, hit 1,000,000 subscribers. We thought, "Let's see if we can build the grill for Sam", not having much confidence that we'd be able to get ahold of him or convince him that he needed a grill built by Weld.com. We reached out to to all of you and asked you to comment on Sam's YouTube videos and IG posts telling him we wanted to build the grill. Well it worked! We were able to get in touch with Sam and he was as excited about the grill as we were!

This is the first of a 5 part series on building the grill. We'll cap it off by taking a 5,000 mile road trip to deliver the Argentinian grill to Sam.
