With a budget of just 300 euros for two days, the mission is to experience as much Mallorcan flair as possible - that is a challenge in a city full of luxury and many tourist offers. But Tamina and Uwe experience many small and large highlights away from the tourist crowds.

Between impressive Gothic buildings, hidden courtyards and narrow streets, they discover the studio of a young German designer. She uses an ancient Mallorcan weaving technique for her trendy designer pieces. But the art stronghold has even more to offer. The Es Baluard Museum not only impresses with its breathtaking view: “The exhibitions are really a special experience. You leave the museum differently than you came in and you take a lot of impressions with you.” Tamina feels.

Palma's gastronomy is as varied as the artistic landscape. Whether it's freshly prepared fish at the market in the trendy Santa Catalina district or vegan tapas in a rustic pincho bar - "You can find everything here from star cuisine to street food," says cameraman Uwe. And be careful: if you order the Mallorcan cult drink vermouth as a nightcap, you will be in for a very special surprise.

At the end of the trip, Tamina and Uwe realize: “Palma definitely has nothing to do with clichés about Ballermann! In order to have a good time here at low cost, you have to take a closer look. But it is very possible and worth it!”
