Chef Jan-Philipp Berner talks about his career as a chef, his early passion for the profession, and his special relationship with Söl'ring Hof and mentor Johannes King. He has a "love-hate relationship" with Sylt: It was by chance that he ended up on the North Sea island, and while he initially saw only downsides, he now appreciates everything positive that the island has to offer.
