Revopoint kindly sent their Pop 3 3D scanner to review and this time I thought I'd scan things that you can find outdoors, out in the world using it's handheld mode and mobile phone app. The Pop 3 has a new feature that will let you scan full color, even in pitch black darkness. I also take a look at how to scan in desktop mode, while connected to a PC.
In this video we'll do an unboxing, setup, and how to. The Pop3 is great for reverse engineering, copying things like minis or shoes and then printing them. It has really fine accuracy and precision at 0.05mm. The decent sized working distance is 150mm - 400mm
