We decided that we just wanted to explore Mykonos on our own because it followed some ports that kept us busy, so we needed a tour break. I recommend just taking a casual day to wander around with your camera and enjoy the old port area.
Our objective was to walk from the tender spot over to the iconic windmills and then walk back after some lunch. We took our time and explored as much as possible on the way. Overall, our time on shore was about five hours, which allowed us to achieve everything we wanted without paying for a tour, a taxi, or other services.
