Can you take your dog to France? What's Paris like with a pooch?

This is Toby, my brilliant rescue dog who is my furry companion almost everywhere I go in France.

You can take dogs in the métro, on trains and in most restaurants and cafés in France, so there's no need to leave them at home.

And with that lifestyle allowing you to take your dog around, it doesn't matter if your Paris apartment doesn't have a garden. You can sit in a café with your dog at your feet. And the best thing? With a dog, everybody treats you like a local, not a tourist.
