What does a car look like after 158,000 miles and then sitting for 16 years straight? I've got the right place to do it so the time is now if you want to find out?

This episode is brought to you by my Patreon's. People who know that if they put ridiculous parts in my hands that I will bend myself over backwards to entertain you with the work that it takes to do cool things with your cars. You can have money, you can buy tools, you can find resources, but it takes work to achieve your dreams, and building my dreams on YouTube is work. Perhaps it's 17 years? Either way you can imagine that everything that's on the car that can be serviced needs it. I've never been under this thing with a lift since I bought it, and I'm not just here to look at it. I pull a laundry list of parts off this thing in order to get to all the parts I need to rebuild. Everything on the undercarriage is scrutinized which I've never done to this one before. By the end of this video, everyone will understand just how much work it takes to bring back a 32 year old, rare JDM classic.

For those who may be unaware, the Galant was the predecessor chassis to the EVO platform. When the EVO was launched, it was launched on the Mirage chassis. But it was done from everything learned from the Galant. This car was well circulated globally but in the United States only 2,000 were ever licensed for sale in 1991 and 1,000 in 1992. This is #1229/2000. The kind of restoration it receives hinges largely on what I find in this video. Enjoy!
