Serika Sterling is best known for all the work she does with The Preemie Foundation, however, now we meet the power house behind the foundation. Serika chronicles her extremely rough childhood having been abandoned by her mother and bouncing from family member to family member. In the process, she is sexually violated but a trusted family associate. Her extremely unfair childhood, could see Serika being a victim, but she has healed and works on continued healing to overcome the many obstacles she faced at such a young age. She has gone on to become a successful Accountant operating her own accounting firm, and is currently pursuing her law degree, all while running her foundation.

Not all superheroes wear capes....and Serika Sterling is a living breathing superhero of her own journey.
