The music world is crying for Jürgen Marcus. The "A new love is like a new life" singer died at the age of 69 years. The hit made him famous in the 1970s. Now he died of chronic lung disease.

Already last year he had to give up his stage career because of illness, now is ertot. He died in mid-May in Munich, as his manager and partner Nikolaus Fischer told the German Press Agency. "With a heavy heart I announce that Jürgen Marcus has lost the fight against the chronic lung disease COPD". He died in the same apartment.

Marcus suffered from the disease since 2002. He would have celebrated his 70th birthday on June 6, 2018.
