It’s exactly a week till the Gubernatorial elections hold in Edo state and residents are gearing up to vote their preferred candidate. With two major political parties at the front burner, the Peoples Democratic Party in the state has declined signing the Peace Accord for ahead of the September 21 elections.
The, PDP Chairman in Edo State, Dr. Tony Aizegbemi while addressing a press conference at the party’s secretariat stated that for the PDP to sign the Peace Accord, all PDP members detained in police formations across the country must be released, or alternatively, charged in competent courts if they have committed any crimes.
