Grosse Scheidegg (1962 meters) is a mountain pass in central Switzerland linking Grindelwald and Meiringen. You can either bike up the Grosse Scheidegge through Grindelwald or Take a bus. From Grosse Scheidegg, its a completely downhill ride with a black-top road. Although it's a car-free zone, you have to be careful of Post-Bus and hikers on the way. On the way down you ride along a mountain river which ends up in a most beautiful fall, Reichenbach fall. This is where Sherlock Holmes was believed to have fallen to his death along with the evil Moriarty. At the end of your ride at Meiringen, you will find the Sherlock Holmes museum.
