In this video I cover a variety of great free engineering programs that I think are the top of their respective software categories. I review statistics, mathematical modeling, 2D CAD, 3D CAD, PCB EDA ECAD, CFD, and programming and IDE. Most of these programs are provided for free under open source or GNU General Public use licences. These are great alternatives to commercial programs like MiniTab, MatLab, AutoCAD, SolidWork, Eagle, SimFlow, and Visual Studio.
