This 1/72 scale model of the USS Sangamon took over 5 1/2 years to build from scratch. The build has 28 aircraft and 423 figures, plus the ship's mascot, "Sangy." At the bow of the ship you will see dolphins plus some other details. The model is cased in acrylic and is 8 feet in length. René Hieronymus is the creator of this magnificent model.
