The cutoff for the CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) Assistant Commandant (AC) exam varies each year based on factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of candidates, and the number of vacancies. Generally, the cutoff marks are announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) after the exam results are declared.
The cutoff marks are calculated separately for each stage of the selection process:
Written Exam: This includes the cutoff for the General Studies paper 1 and the English Essay & comprehension paper where 50 marks are compulsary

Physical Standards Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET): These tests have their own criteria and are qualifying in nature. Candidates must meet the physical standards and efficiency requirements to proceed to the next stage.

Interview/Personality Test: This Stage has a total of 150 marks
