It's cooling off outside, so you know what that means. It's time to start getting back into the nest and get another restoration going. This episode we are going to tackle the Coleman 220F lantern restoration for a friend and subscriber. Justin approached me with this old lantern that belonged to his grandfather from the early 1970's and said the last time he tried using it, it would only spit out raw fuel and not light. Not exactly the best thing for a liquid fuel lantern to do, right? I have hardly ever used one of these gas lanterns, let alone took one apart or repaired one. But after thinking a little while on it, and him giving an awesome story that goes with the lantern's history, I decided we would give it a go and try to get this old trusty lantern back into good order for many more years of service. Yeah, I know, I'm always a sucker for an old item with a good story.
