More than the cravings, there was a strong curiosity about how to bake this recipe.
Something very new to me here was the use of vegetable shortening and a real struggle in making the buko pie crust.
But, believe it or not the taste was great and that the amount of effort that was put was all worth it.
I remember, I used to have struggled in baking an "egg pie", who also has a pie crust. But, eventually, from baking it over and over again, it was now perfect!
Thanks for my daughter Althea, who helped me with the editing while, I am learning the "cap cut" app.
I'm happy that my baking skills is now leveling up.
