River Park South is a quiet residential community that forms part of the most southern part of South St. Vital. Situated south of Nova Vista drive, between St. Mary’s and St Anne’s Rd, this neighbourhood is ideal for a quick escape to lake life via the south perimeter. Bordering on the Seine River, you will find lots of walking trails and bike paths. This community has a wealth of facilities, including eight schools, a library, fire hall, Johnathon Toews Recreational Centre and plenty of shopping. If you are interested in houses for sale in River Park South, then you have come to the right place! REAL ESTATE TRENDS
River Park South has a large diversity in the age, price and size of homes. There is something for every buyer. The first homes were built here in the early 1970’s and it’s been expanding ever since. SCHOOLS AND SERVICES
River Park South has 7 elementary schools and 2 high schools. They offer both full English, full French as well as French Immersion. They are all part of the Louis Riel School Division except for Leo- Remillard which is a French high-school managed by the Division Scolaire Franco-Manitobaine.

There is no major hospital found in River Park South, the closest being the Victoria Hospital situated on Pembina Highway.


SHOPPING
River Park South is situated minutes from the St. Vital Shopping Mall, where you will find an array of retail shops, restaurants and large box stores. There are grocery stores situated conveniently throughout the neighborhood, including a Sobey’s, Extra Foods and Safeway.

If you have a palate for wine, Banville & Jones Wine Co. is a neighborhood favourite.

With shops and restaurants spread all over, you will most likely find what you are looking for only steps away from home.


ENTERTAINMENT
With green space found throughout River Park South, and situated only a few minutes' drive to St. Vital Park, this neighbourhood is appealing to all who love the outdoors.

River Park South borders on the Seine River with its neighbouring community Royal Wood, giving access to beautiful bike and walking paths through the 117 acre forest named Bois-des-Esprit.

Dakota Community Centre/Johnathon Toews Sportsplex offers the community a wealth of experiences. They offer tons of activities fit for all ages. With the brand-new Fieldhouse and outdoor skating rink, it has become a meeting ground for the community. Located at 1188 Dakota Street.

Maple Grove Off-Leash Dog Park is nice and close for those who have furry friends who need to let out some energy
