I had a request from a customer a while back to build some large shelf units for their great room. The shelf units would rest on lower base cabinets and needed to be painted to match the bases. My preference would have been to build on site, but distance from my shop and the fact that my customers were living in the space helped make the decision to build the shelving in the shop as complete units and transport them to my customer's home to install them.
