One Blackfriars sits on the Southbank side of the river Thames in London, UK. Locally also known as Blackfriars Tower, The Vase or The Boomerang because of its shape. One Blackfriars is 163 metres tall and 49 stories high making it one of the tallest buildings in the London skyline. Inspired by a glass vase by world renowned architect Ian Simpson. Build in phased it was started in 2012 and finished six years later in 2018. The building is mixed use with a luxury 5 star hotel, office space and residential accommodation.
