On November 5th, 2022, the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway ran two trips from Nelsonville, Ohio to Logan. During the first trip, the 1920 Baldwin steam engine had maintenance concerns and was pulled from the train. GP10 #701, built in 1974 came to pull the train to Logan, and return.

Steam engine #3 was fixed in between trips, and #3 pulled the 3pm trip. We follow the first trip, which includes a run by where all passengers were able to watch the 0-6-0 pull the train passed them. We also make a quick visit to the shops of the railroad, in Nelsonville, Ohio.
