After a few weeks driving the old W460 around with the non- turbo engine we ran into a problem aside from speed… turns out i blew a rod bearing and in my inexperience i pushed it a little farther than i should have and sent a rod out the block… needless to. Say the non-turbo motor needed to go. By a stroke of luck i found a barn motor about 3 hours away from a 300D. Went through the bottom end, replaced rod bearings, seals and gaskets. After the new motor got the bugs worked out we decided to test her out!
