In 2012 Disney Channel released "Girl vs Monster" which follows 15 year old Skylar as she navigates the fact that she's a 5th generation monster hunter.

In 2011 the channels annual "Wiz-tober" event was renamed to "Monstober" in order to prepare for the release of the movie.

This was such a treat to revisit! I remember watching the premiere as a kid and this movie definitely still has the same charm it did to me back then going to make this a yearly halloween watch.
