I was dreaming to play this Aphex Twin's piece for so long!
But I always hesitated, and for a good reason! Now, after 3 years of learning piano, it was still quite a challenge to play. But hours of training payed off, everything - scales, arpeggios, sitereading. Just a year and a half ago I'd probably given it up early just not being able to read it fast enough.
I practiced this piece for longer than I'm willing to admit, but there were a lot of new technical things that I learned along the way:
16th notes and dotted rhythms, including both hands in different phases
A LOT of octaves
Much more nuanced pedal work than I did before.

Youtube has recognized that this is a copyrighted composition, that I consider a compliment to my effort. If you see ads on this video, I hope at least a tiny fraction of advertiser money is going to Aphex Twin.
