I always upgrade the spool bearings of all my baitcasting reels, most especially the most important ones...for the life of me, I don't understand why I haven't done it with this since it is literally the most used baitcasting reel I have...I might have overlooked it for such a long time because it already casts so well - but in a recent trip to the philippines, I noticed something - someone else was able to cast it...which is weird for a baitcasting reel I own...the answer was of course the bearings...normally when I swap the bearings, most people would not be able to cast it out...so here we go, not because I don't want others to not be able to cast it, but because it gives me that extra distance when I need it...sure, it might be harder to cast for a lot of people after the upgrade, but hey, I don't see anyone else use this aside from myself...so here we go!

For those that are looking for an easy upgrade that will immediately boost performance on your calcutta conquest, a ceramic bearing upgrade is the cheapest and easiest way to get very tangible results. Replacing the stock bearings with Ceramic Bearings on your calcutta conquest will enable the spool to rotate with almost zero friction, this means it will take considerably less force to make the same length casts, or it can extend your casting range giving you more area to cover per cast.
