In this video of Trim Carpentry we are going through step by step process of a Master Closet in new construction. This is what we call semi custom closet. Homeowners can select between SR: Single Rod/Shelf and DR: Double Rod/Shelf additionally the number of bays for each and whether they would prefer Shoe Shelves/ Bank of Shelves. These closets are made with an assortment of MDF for shelving and 1x2” clear pine nosing/cleats. The shelves are 1x12”, 1x16”, 1x24”.

Let’s talk closets, storage, and organization. This is one of many ways to do closets whether DIY or Contractor. There are many styles and obviously cabinet style closets are awesome however many people are dealing within budgets. These closet packs shown still look great when painted and are incredibly functional! You can really set these closets off with a stunning metal closet rods as well! These closets sit in a middle ground of wire rack shelving and cabinet grade! By breaking up the spans of the shelving and dropping legs we are able to avoid the need for any brackets whether it be metal or custom wood ones. We believe it makes for a much more uniform look as well as providing a sleek design.

The tools you will need to complete this project are; Miter Saw, Circular Saw, Jig Saw, 15g & 18g nail guns, Hand Tool Assortment. Whether you’re DIY or professional the tools required to complete a closet similar to this one are simple!
