Arunachal Pradesh’s gem, Mechuka stands as an intriguing destination, untouched by time. Mechuka, known to the locals as “Medicinal water coming from the melting snow,” is another hidden gem of Northeast India.

Located in the East Himalaya, it boasts a unique topography with snow-capped mountains, curvy River Siyom, and dense Pine trees. Mechuka cocoons Tibetan culture due to its geographical proximity to Tibet and its historical interactions. The local way of life reflects Tibetan culture, particularly the Memba tribe. Life in Mechuka is slow and in harmony with nature.
