The 2025 Chery Tiggo 4 Pro is quite literally the baby tiger in the Chinese brand’s SUV portfolio and just like a tiny tiger’s claws it’s got a super-sharp price to match.

Usually this means the vehicle is a bucket of bolts. Cheap = nasty.

But early impressions from our brief first drive suggest the brand is improving; poking and prodding inside and out the vehicle reveal it to be a more mature product than previous Chery vehicles.

Granted, the chassis still needs (a lot!) of work to be able to match league leaders but in terms of value for money it’s hard to beat. All models are fitted with dual 10.25-inch digital screens and high levels of equipment, while a seven-year warranty with roadside assistance is part of the dealio.
