🔴 About the Story

" Jibon Gatha " is a short film based on a true story of Sujit Sarma , a renown contractor of Tezpur. Chintu a vegetable seller runs his small family by selling vegetables 20 km far from his home. On that day he kept his vegetables in the residence of Sujit Sarma. Kind hearted Sujit Sarma told Chintu to keep vegetables there at his home instead of carrying regularly from Chnitu's home. Keeping his vegetables in safe hand Chintu returns his home. Reaching home he comes to know through news that due to Covid 19 Government declared Sonitpur district as containment zone for seven days . Chintu has come to know that he will not be able to go to collect his vegetables for seven days. He found himself very deplorable with his poor economic condition. It is known to Chintu that during 7 days period all his vegetables will be spoiled . He made phone call to Sujit Sarma to explain his pathetic condition during this Covid period. He explained his helpless situation. Sujit Sarma understood his deplorable condition in such a Covid 19 situation and decided to help Chintu by selling his vegetables. Sujit Sarma sits infront his home with the vegetables , . An young boy clicked a photo of Sarma and posted in FB mentioning Sujit Sarma's kindness. The post became viral. Most of his friends came and purchased vegetables from him and within a short span of time he sold all the vegetables . He received an amount of Rs. 1800 by selling the vegetables. Chintu became greatful to him. He collected the money from Sarma afterwards.
