Enterprise by Nissim Ezekiel - NET SET | Indian Literature | Heena Wadhwani

Enterprise is a poem composed by the Father of Modern Indian English Poetry i.e. by Nissim Ezekiel. It was published in 1960 in his poetry collection 'The Unfinished Man.' In this poem, several travellers undertake a journey which is adventurous at first, but towards the end of it, the pilgrims are worn out and tired. They do not even remember why they undertook the journey, concluding that 'Home is where we have to gather grace.' The poem is an allegory in different senses. Watch the video to have a critical analysis of Enterprise.

This is an important work, prescribed for UPHESC, BA, MA, NTA NET, SET, UPSC and other competitive exams. This will also help students preparing for GATE, CUET PG and more. This video is a part of the UPHESC English syllabus series by Heena Wadhwani.
