This is a slightly rearranged version of “A Cheaper Love Letter (for Egberto Gismonti)”, the first track on the album A THOUSAND RAWHIDE DIAPHRAGMS.
It was filmed down at The Verdict, in Brighton, by Tristan Banks, who aside from being one of the most accomplished drummers I know in the UK and running a successful jazz club in his hometown is also an excellent video maker.
My utmost respect and gratitude goes to Will Fry, who put a lot of his time into learning and performing this tune out of sheer friendship and love for the music.

So here’s the full lineup and credits for this one:

Maurizio Ravalico - congas, composition, musical direction
Will Fry - congas
Tristan Banks - filming and lighting
Alessandro Petrussa - color correction advisor

Please note that this arrangement differs from the album version, and it is therefore not a verbatim reference for learning the tune as transcribed on the official score.
The structure and the writing of the main blocks is the same, but the distribution of individual parts have here been democratised in oder to give equal feature space to both performers.
