Ste demands to know why James lied to him about sleeping with Jez and the will change. James deflects and when Ste asks James if he loves him, James doesn't deny it, but before they can kiss, Leah interrupts and James flees. James talks to Jez, who tries to encourage James to tell Ste. James is about to ask Ste if they can talk when he gets a call from the hospital calling him in for an MRI scan. This makes James change his mind and he again pushes Ste away by telling him to sign the divorce papers.
