This backyard DIY animal run is SUPER simple and can be easily built in an afternoon. I'm using it as a temporary pigpen, but you can use it as a dog run, guinea pig enclosure, rabbit run, or even chicken run! All you need are a bunch of t-posts, a piece of rebar, welded wire fencing, and some wire to tie it together. Oh, and some fence staples if you'll be tying it in to any wooden posts.
