Amami Oshima is the third largest island after the main island of Okinawa and Sado Island. A day or two was not enough to see everything. This time, I traveled to Kakeromajima, a popular remote island that can be reached from Amami Oshima, for 5 nights and 6 days.

Day 3: Sightseeing in the southern part of Amami Oshima (Koniya, Uken Village, Yamato Village)

This time, I will go sightseeing around the southern part of Amami Oshima. It is a core sightseeing spot among Amami Oshima with famous waterfalls and nature. Finally, head to Miyakozaki, which was the opening location for the Taiga drama "Segodon". It was a wonderful place where a single road leading to a vast superb view made me the main character of a drama.
