Come along with us as we traverse through the North Country trail in the lower peninsula of the mighty mitten state Michigan. Our journey was four days and three nights starting in near Baldwin, MI at the Bowman Trailhead. We covered about 70-80 miles of mostly mountain bike single track trail and a little bit of relief from some pavement and dirt roads. Our first camp site was 17.5 miles from the start at the beautifully secluded McCarthy lake rustic camp ground in Sauble Township, MI. We are not professionals by any means and we hope that this video can and will inspire those that are thinking about doing any overnight bikepacking trips but are apprehensive. We just used the mountain bikes we owned and gathered a few specific bags that would fit and loaded up. It was challenging, but oh so satisfying! I hope you guys enjoy episode one and I can not wait to get the following episodes finished! God bless!
