A network is two or more computers (or other electronic devices) that are connected together, usually by cables or Wi-Fi.The most Popular Model in networking is the Client Server Model.

A server is a piece of computer hardware or software that provides functionality for other programs or devices, called "clients".

A client is a piece of computer hardware or software that accesses a service made available by a server as part of the client–server model of computer networks.

To reach a server one need an IP Address.

An Internet Protocol address is a numerical label such as 172.16.254.1 that is connected to a computer network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication.
It is difficult to remember numbers as IP address is a number, So here DNS (Domain Name System) comes into play.
The Domain Name System provides a way to map names (a website you're seeking) to numbers (the address for the website).

Everything connected to internet has an IP address. Another thing which is important for proper communication over a network is the Port Number. Every network based application has a port number.

A port number is a way to identify a specific process to which an internet or other network message is to be forwarded when it arrives at a server.

Port numbers identify a particular application or service on a system.
