This video contains gameplay from Hollow Knight on the Nintendo Switch in HD. Hollow Knight is a Metroidvania game that released in 2017 with critical acclaim. Many people even say it is one of the best games in it's genre. But what exactly is a Metroidvania game? Metroidvania is a videogame genre inspired by the Metroid and Castlevania series. These games have you explore a vast maze like world where you explore to find upgrades, solve puzzles, and defeat bosses. Today I offer you my first impressions and reaction to Hollow Knight to find out if it is actually good or bad. This is not a review but a highlight of my first time playing with live commentary. Is the gameplay in Hollow Knight good? What is the story and cutscenes like? What about the music? Today we find out all that and more! From exploring Hollownest, fighting bosses, meeting Hornet, defeating the False Knight, and getting upgrades, these are all my best and funniest moments while playing Hollow Knight.
