The process of growing wisteria is simple and you will quickly see results after just one month. We go over why your plants might not be germinating and how you can solve this issue. We also go into detail over how to protect your beautiful wisteria vine from pests, as snails are the biggest detterent to growing healthy vines.

Vines can quickly scale a building, and easily destroy rooftops and ceilings, which is why it is best grown on a trellis away from a house or building. Although very fragrant and beautiful, this wisteria can be quite invasive. Because it grows on our house, we have to prune it HEAVILY each summer. Wisteria vines can grow in pretty much any soil type, including sand or clay, and of course, garden soil, however, it prefers moist and well-draining soil. Although juvenile wisteria grows slowly, the elegant and vibrant purple flowers make it worth the wait.

Wisteria can be grown in a pot, however it prefers to spread its roots in the ground.
