The Audi Q6 e-tron is the first electric Audi to be underpinned by the new PPE, Premium Platform Electric architecture which is co-developed with Porsche. It gets an 800-volt battery architecture, new interiors and more range. It can charge from 10 to 80 per cent in 21 minutes and has a WLTP range of 625km (claimed). Its dual motor setup produces 281bhp and 275Nm/580Nm (front/rear motor) of torque and the SQ6 e-tron produces 375bhp with the same torque figures and a WLTP range of 598km (claimed). While the two get Audi's quattro system, there is also a performance variant that gets RWD only but a WLTP range of 641km (claimed)

The new interiors of the Audi Q6 e-tron include a curved display with an 11.9-inch digital cluster, a 14.5-inch infotainment system, and an optional 10.9-inch inch screen for the front passenger. Ed Sirish Chandran drives both the Audi SQ6 and the Q6 e-tron and tells you all about its ride and handling, performance and its driving DNA.
