Watching a squadron of javelina is always entertaining, at least to me and I would guess to our subscribers. So when something seems out of whack, like when I see behavior that I haven't seen before, there's only a couple of reasons that I can think of, 1) the animals is sick or injured, like Bubbles with his injured nose which makes him blow bubbles when he drinks, or 2) the animals sees/senses something that I can see or sense. In this case we do see a cluster of adult and one juvenile javelinas alert to something off cam, but also the lone javelina that either has a cough or is really agitated about something. Notice how he and Bubbles flair up their hair when surprised or showing aggression. Please enjoy these amazing animals and their quirks.
