This video will show you how to clean the valves on the Ford 2.0 Ecoboost engine. Since this engine is a GDI (gasoline direct injection) the valves will not have fuel cleaning like most port injection engines. So over time the valves will get carbon build up on them thus restricting the engine. This was done on a 2013 Ford Focus ST but will be the same procedure for the Escape, Edge, Fusion, Taurus and the Lincoln Corsair, MKZ, MKC, and Nautilus using this engine.
