Sweating is regulated by our body’s nervous system. For people with hyperhidrosis, it’s thought the nerves become overactive, triggering sweat without heat or physical activity. It’s a condition that impacts about one in 100 Australians.
Most people with excessive sweating don't realise they can get help. Some treatments include iontophoresis, surgery, antiperspirants and Botox. Daniella’s Botox treatments are usually 12 to 20 injections per armpit, every nine to ten months.
