Whether your goal is to build muscle or to gain strength and learn hard calisthenics skills like planches or handstand push-ups, mastering the dips is essential. And in order to do it, you need to understand the correct technique.

In this video, I explain how you can do dips the right way and not get injured. Understanding the technique is crucial here because if you don’t get it right, you’ll not be as efficient or you might even injure yourself.

When I started calisthenics, I did both. I injured my chest(sternum) and on top of that I couldn’t even build much strength with the exercise. That’s why I stopped doing dips back then and it took me months to actually recover from that chest pain.

This is exactly why I recorded this video, so that people can learn the right technique and not hurt themselves.
