What’s happening in this Van Helsing movie clip?
Velkan (Will Kemp - who also starred in Royal Matchmaker and the Reign series) is trying to kill a werewolf, and he's struggling. Anna (Kate Beckinsale - who also starred in Underworld and Pearl Harbor), his sister, arrives to save him and they manage to drop him into the trap they had set up, a large cage hanging from the trees. But as Velkan tries to shoot him down, his pistol drops, leaving him unarmed to face the monster. Everyone starts shooting the werewolf, but only Velkan's pistol has silver bullets that can kill the werewolf once and for all. The cage drops and the werewolf is freed before Anna can find her brother's pistol. He starts chasing her but she gets to the edge of a ravine, she's stuck. Fortunately, her brother appears to protect her and shoots the werewolf, saving her but falling into the ravine with him.

What’s the movie Van Helsing about?
Famous monster killer, Gabriel Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman - who also starred in Wolverine and The Greatest Showman), is sent to Transylvania to help the last of the Valerious family in defeating Count Dracula (Richard Roxburgh - who also starred in Moulin Rouge and Mission Impossible). Anna Valerious (Kate Beckinsale - who also starred in Underworld and Pearl Harbor) reveals that Dracula has formed an unholy alliance with Dr. Frankenstein's monster (Shuler Hensley - who also starred in The Legend of Zorro and Odd Thomas) and is hell-bent on exacting a centuries-old curse on her family. Together Anna and Van Helsing set out to destroy their common enemy, but uncover some unsettling secrets along the way.
