Small mini portable battery-powered video lights like the SmallRig RC 60B, Godox ML60Bi, and the Aputure amaran 60xS have come a long way. In this video, I'll talk about why my Godox ML60Bi has changed my mind over the years on mini COB video lights and how I use them to fill a scene, product placement, and background lighting. But they do have cons and generally are under powered so they can't really be used as key lights, or can they? Should I consider more of these light?
