You do not have to be a baker to make this stunning crumble cake. It has the pretty sheen and undulating top of a fancy pastry, but is actually a simple dessert made from frozen phyllo dough from the shop

Ingredients to make Crinkle Custard Cake
Phyllo Sheets
Butter - 1/2 cup
Milk - 3/4 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Egg - 2
Vanilla
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - 1/2 cup

Method to make Crinkle Cake
1. Fold the phyllo sheets and arrange it in a cake tin
2. Bake it in 180 degree celcius for 10 minutes.
3. Melt some butter and pour on top of the phyllo sheets and bake again for 10 minutes
4. Mix milk, sugar, eggs and vanilla essence and mix well.
5. Pour this custard mix on top of the phyllo sheets and bake again for 30 minutes.
6. Make some simple syrup with sugar and water and pour it on top of the cake.
7. You can slice and serve when it is warm.
