Ella called me up one day and said "I want to make a music video with your dad's 1957 Chevrolet Belair convertible in it.
And that's all we had to go on!
Certainly, as cool as Ella is and as cool as my dad's car is, it just wouldn't seem fitting to have a cool music video with my 73 year old father driving her around in the car.
So, a little "Movie Magic"... I film her riding in the car, and just flip the frame horizontally and presto! She's in the driver's seat!

I stole this idea from Toby Mac's music video "Backseat Driver" that shows folks in a classic car, but the camera cleverly disguises the fact that they are never actually seen driving it.
