Thinking about a move to Spain? I'm sharing today all about what we packed, what we left behind and why we purged before moving out of the U.S. We came to Spain thinking we'd be here just for a gap year, but we are now heading into year two. We arrived only with four duffle/rolling duffle bags and four backpacks. Since then, we've only had one box of personal items shipped to my parent''s house to bring back from a trip to the U.S.

Here are some helpful tips mentioned in today's video:

Duffel bags/outlet converters: https://www.amazon.com/shop/goanddogo...

Inexpensive shipping option for U.S. shipping: Pirate Ship

*Me, my husband and our two boys ages 11 and 8 moved from South Carolina in the U.S. to Madrid, Spain. We did a one-month trial Tenerife, Spain in July 2023 and loved it so much that we came back on visas for a gap year by September 2023. Now, we’ve committed to year two in Spain. This channel shares weekly tips on how your family, too, could move abroad from the U.S. to Spain.
